That one was up north for a change. It's hard to tell from the little map they provide, but it looks like it was centered around Luzhou.

And it was a 5.7. Fortunately, it was also 140 km deep. If it had been shallower, it could have been a lot more scary.

They say that the volocanoes were not involved. I do not know if one should be relieved by that information.

Yeah, that one I felt. I don't normally, as I'm naturally swaying.

Freezing my derriere here, as I do not dare to keep the heater on during quakes.

While it may turn itself off when tilted, I worry about the heated surface touching the floor. Friggin plastic floors.

I'm trying to figure this one out and struggling. You're worried that the heater may fall over and burn the plastic? It's really not going to happen, but if it does the earthquake will be so severe that melted plastic will be a minor concern.

I collapsed in the lounge at around 11 PM. Woke up at 5 AM to an enormous crack in the wall and mass hysteria on Facebook. Thank Odin and Jah for letting me sleep through it. Stay safe!

Lucky you. My mother decided to stage a hysterical fit. After 20 years here, she still has not mastered the art of figuring out the time difference. So calling madly since 2am and freaking out when I do not answer is her way of showing she cares. I try to explain I have to go to work...she thinks we get the day off and I should lister to her religious rambles...

Oh and she got all my FB family members to write in the message I had left stating I was OK. Call her, she is worried, they write. Why don't they tell her or get a map?!

Yep, I felt that one, too. My building was swaying for a good minute. No jolt or up and down, just swaying.

The metro stopped in the tunnel between stations and the lights went out. That was unnerving. Then it moved at walking pace until my stop. Didn't get home until after 1 a.m. Then up at 5:50 a.m. to get the kid ready, breakfasted and out. I YAM the walking dead!
