Taiwanease goes Motor Racing

Postby shiadoa » Tue Jan 07, 2014 23:16

I shall be Racing the Caterham SP300r this season at Penbay in the OTGP Option Cup. If any interested people would like to get a closer look, I would be more than happy to arrange a passenger ride, when possible . Racing against the Lamborghinis, Ferraris,McLaren,.....things are getting a bit faster now. Maybe we need to lower the car? Acute lack of Race engineers makes things harder in Taiwan. I guess it will come , eventually.

I am already famous divea ....problem is there are millions of people who are more famous  Oh, and I am too old to enjoy it. The Taiwanese look at the wrinkles and ask ,"Are those scars from a Racing accident ? "

That is so cool, Shiadoa. Once we make the move (still six to nine months off), we'll both come to cheer you on. In the meantime, good luck this season and the gods give you speed. CELERITER!

March 23rd
March 31st
May 18th
July 27th
Sept. 28th
Oct. 17th
Nov. 16th

Dates in Bold are maybe bigger events.
Costs are getting a bit high ....car over 5 Million NTD, Racing budget now around 4 Million NTD.....maybe I need a few sponsors
Taiwanease sponsorship deal is 2 Bottles of beer(any brand) and a free meal at Jimmi's
Do you think anyone noticed that I forgot to turn the "bold" off ? Another "Senior" moment...sorrry

Interesting Test...we have had no time to configure the throttle position sensor or do the suspension set up. ( Translation....handling all over the place and gas pedal suddenly decides to give maximum revs at will) spin or two and oversteer...all fixable. Speed impressive...cars max . speed 280KPH approx.
