“If you realise your own mind you will become a Buddha, you should not seek Buddhahood elsewhere.” – Buddha Shakyamuni
Buddha’s teachings explain powerful techniques for liberating our mind from suffering and manifesting our inner qualities. Of all the methods explained in Buddha’s teachings, the oral instructions of Mahamudra are the most sophisticated and powerful. These practices enable us to easily complete our spiritual journey to enlightenment in one single lifetime!
Gen Tonglam will explain the essence of these techniques and then guide us in retreat through the stages of the Mahamudra meditation.
During the guided portion of this retreat students will receive teachings and instructions and be guided in meditation. During the self-guided portion of this retreat, participants guide themselves in the retreat sessions.
Gen Kelsang Tonglam is a Buddhist monk and Resident Teacher at KMC Taiwan. Born in Hong Kong, Gen Tonglam trained under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in the UK for many years. He explains clearly and practically how we can find happiness by using Buddhist wisdom in our busy, modern lives.
Conducted in English and Mandarin. Open to anyone. No previous experience required.
You can choose to attend any session or all of the teachings and retreat sessions.
