Free Relationship Advice for the Ladies

Postby Blake Carrington » Fri Jul 10, 2015 21:16

Ladies, you want to make your relationship 17% more enjoyable and 26% less stressful?

Here is a simple rule you can follow that will help you achieve those above stats.

DO NOT ask your man the same question twice.

its that simple.

let me give you an example:

Female: Honey, did you feed the cat today?
Male: Yes, I did.
Female: So you fed the cat?
Male: (annoyed) yes, didn't you just ask that?

aggro, argument or annoyance ensues...

The dreaded AAA.

Avoid this, be proactive, stop double checking, it annoys us to no end.

Cheers!

Yeah, and when we say we're going to fix something, we don't need reminding. We'll fix it... um... eventually.

It's ok. The cats will remind us. Really, they will. Over, and over, and over.

Loudly.

It's not something we need fear forgetting.

Same goes for kids.

And wives.

If you're getting asked the same question twice it could be because you have a track record of failing to do things upon the first request :idunno: . Or, perhaps of lying?

Its back to back, its not like, ask, wait, ask again. Its like a double checking, immediate thing.

Hey, I get it if it is something of extreme importance (lets leave the cat example out, we don't even have a cat so it is a moot point) but EVERY LITTLE THING, it is almost like the first answer is simply practice for the second.

YES, it is maddening and completely unnecessary.

Well, then. You don't have a generic problem. It's a specific one, specific to you and your relationship. Sort it out.

Is she communicating in a second language? Might be that she's checking herself. I do it all the time when I use my rubbish Chinese.

A lot of Taiwanese do that, in English, Chinese and Taiwanese. It's not a language thing, it's a cultural thing, I think. Dr. Nemesis seems to have this problem often at work if his Facebook is anything to go by.

Oh yeah. It's a bit like when you ask someone a question and they reply "Me?". Well, of course - you are the one I'm talking to  .
